How Many Dental Veneers Should I Get?
How Many Dental Veneers Should I Get?
Hi, My name is Dr Fong, and I’m one of the gentle dentists here at Dental House Group in Melbourne.
During a smile makeover consultation yesterday, our new patient Mila from Diggers Rest asked me, “How many dental veneers do I need?” a common question we get from our patients, so I thought I would make a short video on it.
Everybody’s situation is different, so we look at a few factors.
Let’s have a look at Mira’s photos.
Firstly, how many teeth can we see? Is it a big smile or a small one? In Mila’s case, we can see 8 teeth. So for her, 8 would be a good start to upgrade her smile.
Secondly, do all the teeth in the smile need to be modified? How much whiter do you want your smile? In her case, all 8 of them need to be modified.
Thirdly, are the existing teeth too long or too short? Do the teeth appear too big for her smile? In her case, her veneers can be a bit longer to cover her smile.
Lastly, is the final result good enough with 8 veneers? Let’s have a look.
Depending on your smile goal and the digital smile design, we can have as little as 1 veneer to as many as 16 veneers. With careful planning and our experience, we can create a beautiful smile that you will love.
I hope this gives you a better understanding of the factors to consider when deciding how many veneers you need for your smile upgrade. If you are considering upgrading your smile with veneers, we would love to help. Here at Dental House Group, we have done thousands of dental veneers over the years, so you will be in experienced hands.
Simply give us a call on 1800GENTLE, direct message us on social media, or complete the form on our website, and we will help you organise your consultation.
