Dental House Group Awarded Full Accreditation with the NSQHS
We are yet again facing another serious global threat. Just a few weeks later, the world has come to know a new virus that is continuously affecting thousands of victims today and is endangering millions more. This new virus is tentatively named “2019-nCov” or Novel Coronavirus, a virus closely related to SARS and MERS. The World Health Organization and other health experts are encouraging everyone to be vigilant with their surroundings and health.
With the outbreak of this virus, Dental House Group has your welfare in our topmost priority. Our patients can have the peace of mind knowing that both Sunbury Dental House and Bacchus Marsh Dental House are fully accredited dental clinics. As a matter of fact, we were awarded full accreditation against the National Safety and Quality Health Service Standards (NSQHS) for Introductory Dental Practice Accreditation by the Quality Innovation Performance Limited (QIP). Rest assured that we take Infection Control very seriously.
What is Quality Innovation Performance Limited?
QIP is a non-profit health promotion charity with more than twenty years’ experience in community service accreditation and more than ten years’ experience in primary and secondary health care accreditation and related services. Aside from NSQHS, QIP also offers accreditation services against a variety of standards which includes:
- Diagnostic Imaging Accreditation Scheme (DIAS) Standards
- National Disability Insurance Scheme (NDIS) and NDIS Practice Standards
- National Standards for Mental Health Services (NSMHS), and
- QIC Health and Community Services (QIC) Standards
Whilst it is a long and strenuous process, we will always do whatever it takes to give you our patients the best quality care and peace of mind.
