Clinical Outcome
A single porcelain crown was designed, fabricated and placed in one appointment using CEREC technology. Same-day treatment eliminated the need for temporary crowns and multiple visits whilst providing immediate tooth protection and restoration.
Individual responses to crown treatment vary significantly. Treatment outcomes cannot be guaranteed. CEREC crowns are milled from solid ceramic blocks and can chip or fracture over time. Crowned teeth require proper oral hygiene to prevent decay at margins. Typical crown longevity ranges from 10-15 years though outcomes vary considerably.
